About Heather

Heather Orum, MSN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and proud Aggie who is passionate about providing practical, compassionate healthcare to the community she calls home. Having grown up in a small town, Heather was drawn to the Hill Country more than 16 years ago by the same sense of community and connection she valued growing up.

Her practice includes urgent care, primary care, transitional care, and chronic care management, with a special interest in helping patients navigate their healthcare needs both in the clinic and, when appropriate, in the comfort of their own homes.

Heather believes the best healthcare is built on a partnership between the patient, provider, and family. She emphasizes shared decision-making, education, and individualized care, taking the time to look beyond a single illness or diagnosis to understand the whole patient and their unique needs.

Outside of healthcare, Heather enjoys a simple country life caring for her animals, spending time with her husband, four children and grandchildren, and being part of the small-town community she is proud to live in and serve.
